Re: FS: Solar Charger & Battery Pack for the Raspberry Pi-Ve

Hi Yann, Unfortunately it sounds like the B+ is a slightly different size to the A and B model that the case was designed for. Thanks for this heads up. I will have to get a B+ and see what changes I need to make to the case to fit all 3 models. If this is important you might want to give me a coupl...

Re: Current Cottonpickers experiments

I'm focussing on solar still at the minute. I'm building out a 6amp (!) quad folder ($249) for a customer, who also wants a 'mini me' 1amp version ($44) both in Camo. See pic below. Separately I've received delivery of my 'light' 1.1amp panels -ideal for bug out and camping/hiking setups as they are...

Re: Cottonpickers 7 Day USB Pi Timer!

Hi Ksmiweather! The timer can operate up to 17 on / off settings a day - Minimum time is 1 min. Of course you could couple this with your Pi doing something (eg use the timer to only switch on during daylight hours and then have the pi take a reading every hour) I can do bulk pricing :-) but first n...

Re: Folding Solar Solutions

Hi Aimless, yes that's me over on cpfm - :-) As you ask for a folder I started thinking about double 1100 (so 2.2amps total) folder - this can charge iphones, and 18650s etc quite nicely. Its $139 delivered and takes about 2 weeks to make up and 10 days crossing the pond. I do have this one already ...

Re: FS: Solar Charger & Battery Pack for the Raspberry Pi-Ve

Kim: I can certainly offer a discount for multiple purchases. I'd be glad to offer $7.50 reduction on each of two of the charger cases (so $15 reduction for two) so long I can post together. If you are interested in more, or changes to the design, I can certainly offer additional reduction depending...

Re: I do want one!

Cleo: Yes , wipeable with cloth and something like washing up liquid. the electrics are all in and tested. I've just completed putting the trim on both. I still have to put the eyelets in, and make up the various triple leads and li-ion chargers etc. but thought I'd share another pic. When I complet...
