Programming the Pi in Python

Nice post. Times have really changed. I remember programming the ZX81 by copying words from a magazine - I had no idea what I was doing..!

This is a great example of how youtube has changed how we do things. I even find myself searching more on youtube that google when I want to do something as it seems easier to understand than a website.

I'm sure Schools will be using this sort of thing to teach kids (or themselves ;-)

Memories memories, I remember how excited I was about getting a thermal printer for a ZX81 it was probably only about a 2 inch wide roll! :D

god those where the days, spending hours typing weird symbols into a pc, only to find out you missed 1 character and have to type it all again.

I've just ordered the following: as I could do with something to my kids started (they are scratch wizards ;-) but I'd like to move them on to Python, and this looks the best of the bunch.
